This Raya, I would like to share a little bit about my friendship with a good friend of mine, Nadiah.
Nadiah and I met a few years ago sometime in 2014. Back then we were colleagues on the same team, and we actually clicked instantly from the first day we met. I remembered our lunch breaks were stress relieve sessions, because we would just go on talking and laughing over zany stuffs!
Both of us were pet lovers too. Me and my pet rabbit, and Nadiah who loves her cat to bits. This translated onto our text messages: It was ‘meow’ instead of a ‘Hi’ from her, while I replied with a 🐰. (bunnies hardly make any sound and are the most silent creatures on earth!) As I left my job to start Adore More, we still keep each other in close contact. Motivating, positive and helpful, Nadiah is always there to support me along the entrepreneurship journey
I’m beyond grateful for a friendship like this with Nadiah. While the society might be divided by differences, we somehow found our way to bond together via similarities, and at the same time, we celebrate our differences.
Nadiah, thank you for being such a lovely gift to my life. 💝
